Prof. Angela Anene Okolo
She was a Professor in the School of Medicine of the University of Benin; she teaches and researches on Neonatal and Perinatal health Issues.Her educational back ground has provided her the opportunity to serve at both international and national level. Her early formative years in medical School at the Lovanium University of Kinshasa, DRC, has made her a bilingual doctor and capacity to work in a multicultural environment. She has Fellowship diploma of various Postgraduate colleges and is an International member of the American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP). She has long standing experience in Teaching and research of over 35 years. She has mentored both junior and senior faculty. She has served at various leadership positions at undergraduate medical School and the post graduate colleges. She has served international Organisations of UNICEF and West African Health organisations (WAHO). She has over 100 publications, and co-authored book chapters and supervised more than 50 dissertations. She is External Examiner, Guest lecturer, at National and International levels.
